This farm pond was very secluded until 2012 when the farm owners sold some of its land to developers. Then condo owners had a front row view of us ripping out bass. Maybe they brought their grandkids fishing after witnessing it. I call this place the Testbed because it is the place to test lures. I have never caught a largemouth bass bigger than 2 pounds in the many years of fishing here, and never any pickerel. The land is being developed, and the area around the pond is overgrown due to lack of farming so shore fishing is not what it used to be. Bringing a canoe is an adventure. There is a small parking lot for a few cars and a trail going to the pond. The Front Pond is nearby.
