This is one of my favorite places. There is a rope swing on the island, a large earthen dam to fish from, and 4 beaches to visit. You can shore fish at various spots along the public 3 mile walking path encircling the lake. Trout get stocked in the spring and fall, and there are plenty of holdovers.
