Deer Island Flats in Boston Harbor is productive for flounder in the spring and summer months. Use a jig rigged with a trailer like a Gulp! Swimming Minnow, or a sea worm on a
fish finder rig. Stripers also hold in the area. There is free parking at the entrance to Deer Island, and a trail around the island for walking or bicycling. The backdrop of the city at sunset is pretty.
