There is a public path that borders most of the 176 acre lake. Two sections of the path are broken in stretches that require walking along the roadway. This is a great place to fish from shore, or by boat. Maximum depth is 53 feet, with an average of 22 feet. No gas motors allowed. You can park for free and shore fish or launch a canoe at
Rafferty Road in Hopkinton. Parking inside the state park is a few dollars in season and once inside there are 2 beaches, plenty of parking, cement boat ramps for trailer access, and canoe, sailboat, stand up paddle board, and kayak rentals.
