3 sections, the north, middle, and south ponds, in Natick, Framingham, and Wayland, respectively, comprise this 600 plus acre lake. There is a large variety of stocked and native species, many trophies. Bass are abundant throughout. Trails surround many areas of the lake. Topo map.
Parking is in the state park for a fee, or street side at various locations. Free parking for car top boating is just east from the state park on route 30, and on the opposite side of the state park, down a dirt road leading to the north pond next to the gatehouse.
The Cochituate Rail Trail travels alongside the middle and southern ponds with parking on Chrysler Road in Natick.
Snake Brook Trail is between the north and middle ponds.
Pegan Cove Park on the southeast corner of the south pond has walking trails and shore fishing. Free parking. Trail map.
